Kwankwaso tells Kano Gov, Yusuf what next to do

Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, the New Nigeria People’s Party’s (NNPP) presidential candidate for 2023, has urged Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to prioritize the state’s security and human development concerns.

At the Governor’s Sallah tribute on Monday, Kwankwaso expressed his admiration for his commitment to promoting women’s empowerment and education programmes that aim to improve the lives of Kano people, stating that these goals are consistent with the principles of the Kwankwasiyya worldview.

Drawing on his background as a previous governor, Kwankwaso stressed the need for efficient oversight to guarantee the just allocation of monies for empowerment.

In response, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf expressed gratitude to Senator Kwankwaso for mentoring him. He reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to preserving the values of the Kwankwasiyya movement for continued progress and development in Kano State.
