Following Saturday’s All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries held throughout Lagos State’s numerous Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), over 51 candidates for chairmanships emerged.
In order to choose its flagbearers for the upcoming local government elections in July 2025, the party used both electoral and consensual methods.
Although there were a few reported disturbances in some places, the primaries were generally quiet.
