Lamido finally exposes the real mission of ADC coalition

Alhaji Sule Lamido, a former governor of Jigawa State and a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has stated his unwavering support for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), an alliance sponsored by the opposition coalition.

According to Lamido, the opposition groups’ cooperation is motivated more by a genuine concern for Nigeria’s stability than by individual goals.

Lamido told reporters in Dutse, the capital of Jigawa State, that the alliance is a necessary and timely response to the increasing suffering that many Nigerians are experiencing under the current government.

“Any patriotic Nigerian with the common man in his heart must give his contribution to overturn the present administration to save the country—particularly the ordinary people, who are suffering in every sector,” he stated.

Lamido insisted that he has no plans to leave the PDP, even though he supports the coalition.

“I remain in PDP. It is the party we gave birth to, nurtured, and one that delivered progress to Nigeria and Nigerians. I will not leave it,” Lamido stated.

The elder statesman stated that he is more concerned with influencing the future of the nation than pursuing political office, characterizing his current position in national discourse as one of mentorship and guidance.

Lamido made these comments during a PDP-hosted political event in Dutse.

He was with Jigawa South West’s current National Assembly representative, Senator Mustapha Khabeeb.

Lamido also presented PDP members to Alhaji Kabiru Hussaini, the ADC’s Jigawa State Chairman, at the occasion.
