Liam has no resemblance to Mohbad – Singer’s father, Joseph Aloba

Joseph Aloba, the late singer Mohbad’s father, has expressed his continued skepticism regarding Liam, his grandson,’s paternity.

According to report, Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, and was laid to rest on September 13.

The Lagos State Police Command exhumed his remains on September 21 for an autopsy.

Following the scandals surrounding his untimely death, Joseph Aloba, who was outspoken in his calls for justice, demanded that Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi, be investigated and that Liam’s biological ties to him be verified with a DNA test.

But according to Aloba’s most recent interview on Silverbird Television, Liam doesn’t resemble his deceased son, which is why a paternity test is necessary.

Liam looked like Mohbad, said the interviewer.

Aloba responded; “No, with what I am seeing, he’s not my grandson. As a father, they are supposed to bring the child to me.

“When I demand DNA, they were supposed to say ‘Daddy go and do it at your convenient time. It has become public now. Let the court speak to that.

“I would only accept Liam as grandson if the DNA test says otherwise.”
