Controversial Nigerian actress, Lizzy Anjorin, has sparked a debate by claiming that she is more “holier” than the well-known gospel singer, Tope Alabi.

Anjorin made this statement in response to the controversy surrounding Tope Alabi’s refusal to perform at her birthday celebration. According to reports, Tope Alabi, who was paid to surprise an undisclosed celebrant, refused to perform after discovering who the celebrant was.

The situation took a surprising turn when Tope, alongside her husband Soji Alabi, who also serves as her manager, refused to exit their car upon arriving at the venue.

In her reaction on Instagram, Anjorin criticized the organizers of the surprise event and boldly asserted that she is holier than the gospel artist. She further emphasized that she does not need Tope Alabi, stating that the best of Alabi’s songs are available on her album, which she can easily enjoy at home.

“Aunty Tope, I love you but I do not need you. If I had invited her myself, I would not have paid a dime.

“I’m holier than you, aunty mi Tope. If we are to ask about your impact in society, I have impacted more lives than you. I’m holier than you. I have done more good than you did and I am pure. If you judge me because of my court cases, I am thankful that God did not judge me”.
