Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has reshuffled his cabinet, removing Secretary to the State Government Prof Olanike Adeyemo from her position with immediate effect.
Sulaimon Olanrewaju, his Special Adviser on Media, made the announcement on Monday in Ibadan, the state capital.
The governor chose Prof Musibau Babatunde as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
Similarly, the governor transferred Temilolu Ashamu from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.
Makinde also named his Senior Special Assistant on Public Works, Ademola Aderinto, as a commissioner-designate, who would be presented to the state House of Assembly for approval.
The governor also named Abiodun Adedoja as Special Adviser on Energy Security and Kolawole Elijah Akanmu as Senior Special Assistant for Budget and Economic Planning.
