A man worries that his younger brother may be his own son after being sexually assaulted by his own mother on multiple occasions starting when he was ten years old.
Doreene Gifford sexually molested 26-year-old Logan Gifford on a regular basis between the ages of 10 and 16.
It was only after he reported his mother to the police that the attacks ceased.
He eventually testified against his mother, who accepted a plea agreement and was given a sentence of 8–20 years in prison for attempted sex assault in 2015.
In court, Gifford described how his mother’s abuse began and disclosed that he had been exposed to drug use as a child. She has maintained her innocence for a long time.
He claimed that when his mother sexually attacked him, she took him into a bedroom she shared with his father, Theodore, where a pornographic video was playing.
Because of his mother’s terrible actions, Gifford was left to assist in raising his younger brothers, including his own 15-year-old brother who might also be his son.
According to Gifford, he thinks he might be his father because his brother was born around the time of the sexual attacks. He said: ‘Look at the mess that I’m left with. I didn’t ask for any of this’.
In order to determine whether his own brother is, in fact, his son, Gifford is currently pursuing a paternity petition in the Vegas courts.
The child, whose name Gifford has kept secret, has cognitive impairments.
