Meet African President who moved his son from Primary 3 to University

Seven years are dedicated to primary education in Uganda, and then another six years are spent on secondary education, which is split into two years of upper secondary school and four years of lower secondary school. After secondary school, a learner pursues post-secondary education for three to five years. All of these steps need to be completed quickly in order to adequately prepare workers who have the necessary qualifications.

Yoweri Museveni, the president of Uganda, was the first African leader to defy the norm, nevertheless. When the boy was in third grade, Uganda’s President Idi Amin Dada enrolled him in university lectures at The Great Makerere University.

Ugandan politician Idi Amin Dada was born in 1925 and died in 2003. He presided over the Republic of Uganda as president from 1971 until 1979. He was the Chancellor of Makerere University from 1971 to 1979. He graduated from Makerere University with a doctorate in law during his time there.

Many who experienced the 1970s recall President Idi Amin Dada as a tough and decisive leader. The man was in charge of a very strong government that could seize anything at any time. Each Makerere University graduation ceremony featured a marriage between the late president and a graduate.

He would dispatch his troops to go window shopping and have them come back with a decent, attractive woman. Since everyone was aware of this, the young graduates would put on a lot of makeup and dress up in hopes of being acknowledged during the graduation ceremony.
