MTN Digital Skills Academy Program is set to revolutionise Africa’s digital landscape by bridging the gap between high demand and low supply of digital skills. According to the program’s organisers, “Everyone is urged to apply for the MTN Skills Academy Program to learn digital skills for free and kickstart their career within the digital economy.

The program, launched by the MTN Skills Academy, aims to develop people across the continent as producers, consumers, and innovators of digital technologies. It is aligned with the African Union’s Digital Transformation Strategy for Africa and MTN’s Ambition 2025 strategy, representing a transformative shift in corporate social Investment towards Digital Skills for Digital jobs.

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be African and interested in learning. The program offers various benefits, including:

– Employment Opportunities: Successful applicants will have access to job opportunities in the digital economy.

– Available Digital Skills: The program offers training in four key areas:

    – Product Analysis: Creating products that meet customers’ needs and solve their problems.

– Software Development: Building computer software and applications through coding and computer science.

    – Data Analysis: Reviewing data to identify key insights for a business and using that data to solve problems.

    – Social Media Management: Managing a company’s online presence by developing a strategy, producing good online content, analysing data, and managing campaigns.
