NDA, Nigerian Army’s 1 Division to deepen collaboration on security operations

The Commandant of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Major General Abdul Khalifa Ibrahim, has pledged full cooperation with the newly appointed General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 1 Division, Nigerian Army, Major General Abubakar Sadiq Muhammed Wase, in support of ongoing military efforts in the North-West region.

He made the commitment on Thursday during General Wase’s courtesy visit to the NDA campus in Afaka, Kaduna.

Major General Ibrahim congratulated the GOC on his appointment by the Chief of Army Staff, describing his selection as the 44th GOC of 1 Division as both merited and timely.

In his remarks, Major General Wase affirmed his willingness to work closely with the Academy whenever necessary.

The visit also included a guided tour of the NDA Hall of Fame.
