Nigeria has seen a variety of tumultuous moments recently. As the nation’s security continues to worsen, ZINGTIE looks at ten unfortunate incidents that have happened in the past ten days.

11/11/25: The kidnapping of six Senior Directors from the Ministry of Defense along the Kogi axis serves as a reminder that even those entrusted with protecting our country are no longer safe.

15/11/25: The violent execution of a Brigadier General, a senior military officer, was a serious warning that both citizens and security personnel were in danger.

16/11/25: In Zamfara, sixty-four individuals, including women and children, were kidnapped; the attack also claimed the lives of innocent people.

17/11/25: A tragic list of attacks on the future of our country was added when twenty-five schoolgirls, young youngsters with innocence and ambitions, were kidnapped in Kebbi and their vice principal was murdered.

18/11/25: A church in Kwara State saw a horrific attack on worshippers who were calmly praying; several were killed and another 38 were kidnapped. A place of worship that was supposed to be a haven turned into a terrifying place. According to reports, the abducted victims were freed on Sunday.

18/11/25 At the PDP Wadata Plaza headquarters, an unsettling crisis developed. Rather than defusing the situation, certain members of the security agencies exacerbated it. The government seems to be amused by the demise of political parties and the erosion of our democracy, rather than concentrating on safeguarding citizens.

18/11/25: The APC partisan hymn “On Your Mandate We Shall Stand” played before to the President’s speech at the All Nigeria Judges’ Conference, where judges who ought to represent impartiality and integrity were observed standing. The public’s confidence in the organizations supposed to uphold the rule of law was further damaged by this unsettling incident. However, the judiciary refuted the accusation.

19/11/25: The ambush of soldiers en route to rescue the kidnapped schoolgirls from Kebbi State demonstrated once more how inadequately supported our security forces have become.

21/11/25: The terrible news that more than 300 students and 12 teachers had been kidnapped from a Catholic school in Niger State woke Nigerians. According to reports, fifty of them managed to flee on Sunday and were reunited with their families.

22/11/25: One farmer in Kaduna was killed when bandits opened fire on them. Terrorists also ambushed and gunned down five police officers and injured two in Sabon Sara, Darazo LGA, Bauchi State.
