After Priscilla, the daughter of actress Iyabo Ojo, married Tanzanian artist Juma Mkambala, also known as Juma Jux, in a traditional ceremony, numerous Nollywood celebrities and stars showered social media with congratulations.

Iyabo Ojo confirmed that the ceremony, which took place in Tanzania on Friday, was the first of four scheduled wedding ceremonies.

The proud mother shared photos from the event on Instagram on Friday, expressing gratitude and excitement for the upcoming celebrations in other locations. “JP2025. God, we give you all the glory. One done and dusted, 4 to go. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Mkambala,” she wrote.

Priscilla also announced her new name, “Hadiza Mkambala,” in a post on Instagram on Saturday.

Nollywood stars have since shown their support through congratulatory messages and prayers for the new couple.

Actress Omowunmi Dada similarly wrote, “Iya iyawo number 1. Ayo, ire, ife, Ibukun loruko Jesus. Congratulations, ma.”

“We are warming up,” another actress, Toyin Abraham, commented as actress Nkechi Blessing wrote, “Iya iyawo fully loaded. We shut down Lagos, Nigeria, next.”

Veteran actor Adebayo Salami also wrote, “Big congratulations to the new family.”

Here’s the rewritten version:

Nigerian singer Aituaje Iruobe, widely known as Waje, shared her congratulations, commenting, “Congratulations, Sis. May God bless their home with love and grace.”
