Imama Amapakabo, technical adviser for the Abia Warriors, is certain that his squad would keep getting better following their inaugural match against Bayelsa United in the second stanza.

Sunday On Sunday, Abia Warriors defeated the visitors 1-0 at Umuahia Township Stadium thanks to a goal from Megwo.

According to Amapakabo, his team would strive to repeat the same performance in the games that follow.

“We just want to win which is the most important thing for my team, as you can see victory is paramount in the game against Bayelsa United,” Amakpakabo told Abia Warriors media.

“We will look at the things we did wrong in this game against Bayelsa United and improve upon our subsequent games.

“It’s just one game of the 19 matches we have played and I think we are going to get better.”
