Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title holders Remo Stars are close to finalizing the signing of Malian forward Adama Goïta.

According to multiple sources, Goïta has already agreed personal terms with the Ikenne-based side.

The prolific attacker is expected to sign a two-year deal with the club.

Goïta had an impressive campaign last season with Djoliba AC in Mali, netting 14 goals across all competitions.

This move marks his first professional stint outside of Mali.

Earlier in his career, Goïta had been linked with a potential transfer to French Ligue 1 side FC Nantes.

Remo Stars are actively reinforcing their squad in preparation for a busy season, which includes participation in the NPFL, the President Federation Cup, and the CAF Champions League.
