The NUC’s approval followed a comprehensive Resource Verification visit, which assessed the university’s human and material resources to ensure quality education in the new fields. Abdullahi noted that the programmes are currently approved for full-time undergraduate delivery only, with potential for future expansion into postgraduate offerings.
“This approval represents a milestone in the University’s commitment to excellence and preparing students to meet the challenges of contemporary times with much-needed skills and knowledge,” Abdullahi concluded. The development marks a significant expansion of the university’s academic offerings, aimed at enhancing educational opportunities and addressing the evolving needs of students and the wider community.
