Stanley Nwabalai, the custodian for the Super Eagles, has stated he is not in a rush to leave Chippa United.
Nwabali reportedly draws interest from foreign clubs due to his exceptional performances at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Despite only recently joining the Nigerian national squad, the 27-year-old took Francis Uzoho’s spot as the starting custodian ahead of the AFCON.
Nwabali saved two penalties in the tournament’s semifinal matchup versus South Africa and recorded four clean sheets.
He responded to inquiries about his future when appearing on Arise News.
“People have been sending messages like they want me to move to Europe or they want me to move to a bigger club.
“I really appreciate that, but to be honest, one thing about me is that I always feel comfortable, even if I’m in a small place; I don’t like to rush,” he said.
