Nigerian hip-hop artist Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known as Odumodublvck, has responded to accusations of misogyny directed at him.
The allegations arose following a line in his 2023 collaboration with Shallipopi, Cast, where he suggested that some women might only be able to afford wigs and designer handbags by sleeping with men.
In a recent interview on The Beat FM in Lagos, Odumodublvck dismissed the accusations, calling them “fake.”
He defended himself by pointing out that over the past year, he has been more supportive of female artists than many of his peers.
“In the last year, I am the artist that has featured the most women in the game. What kind of misogynist is that? That’s a fake one,” he said.
