Portugal Coach Reveals The Two Strikers He Rates Above The Rest

Portugal coach Jorge Jesus has identified Norway’s Erling Haaland and Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen as the two most powerful strikers in world football at present.

Jesus made the assessment during his pre-match press conference, where he compared Haaland and Osimhen ahead of Portugal’s 2-1 Nations League victory over Norway at the Ullevaal Stadium in Oslo on Sunday.

The 72-year-old Portuguese coach, while responding to a question about Haaland, said, “Haaland is the most physically and technically powerful player inside the box.

“Outside the area, he is not quite as dominant, even though he is fast. But inside the box, for me, he and Osimhen are the strongest in the world.”

Haaland currently represents Premier League giants Manchester City, while Osimhen plays for Turkish club Galatasaray.

Both forwards have delivered impressive performances for their respective clubs so far this season.
