Daniel Bwala, President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, has refuted claims that former National Chairman Ralph Nwosu of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) was promised ministerial positions by the Presidency.
According to Bwala, only President Tinubu has the authority to guarantee or award cabinet positions.
On Wednesday, he announced this in a post on his X Twitter.
Following Nwosu’s accusation that “some people” offered him three ministry jobs in exchange for giving up on turning the ADC into a coalition opposition group, the statement was released.
At the ADC’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on Tuesday, where the party formally turned over its leadership to former Senate President David Mark, he made the accusation.
People in the ADC were gradually graduating to the “association of jesters,” according to Bwala, who responded to the accusation.
