The Port Harcourt refinery will sell gasoline at N1,030 per liter, according to the Petroleum Products Retail Outlet Owners Association of Nigeria, or PETROAN. This confirms that the refinery is functioning, as reported by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited.
The NNPCL notified the organization that a litre of premium motor spirit at the renovated refinery costs N1,030, according to a statement issued Thursday evening by PETROAN spokesman Joseph Obele.
According to Obele, the PMS price at the Port Harcourt refinery is N1,030 per liter, as officially advertised by NNPC Retail Ltd.
Additionally, PETROAN was informed that the product request portal was available for reservations and requests.
The strategic pricing team at PETROAN is presently examining the best prices for its members, he continued, saying, “we are open to patronizing all the refineries in Nigeria.”
In order to guarantee a happy Yuletide celebration for Nigerians, the association also requested NNPCL to take into account additional price reductions.
The refinery’s announcement comes after weeks of conjecture over the price of gasoline.
Recall that Tuesday was the first day of operations and petroleum product truckouts at the Port Harcourt Refinery.
