Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of well-known Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo, has addressed the backlash she received regarding the absence of her father, Ademidun Ojo, at her wedding.

Reports revealed that Priscilla married her lover, singer Juma Jux, in an Islamic ceremony in Tanzania on Friday.

However, the absence of her father at the event sparked rumors of a troubled relationship, with many accusing Priscilla of excluding her father from the wedding plans.

Ademidun Ojo’s absence led to speculations about a possible conflict between him and his ex-wife, Iyabo Ojo.

In response to the criticism, Priscilla took to her Snapchat story, posting a screenshot of a video call with her father on Sunday evening.

It’s worth noting that in 2023, Iyabo Ojo had shared in an interview with media personality Toke Makinwa that her marriage to Ademidun was her first experience with poverty.
