On December 25, the US military unleashed a total of 12 Tomahawk missiles on insurgents in Sokoto State.
Rep. Riley M. Moore, who represents Virginia’s Second District in Congress, confirmed this in an interview with Fox News.
According to ZINGTIE, the US military bombed militants in Sokoto State on Christmas Eve, murdering innocent people across Nigeria.
Some security specialists said on Friday that the operation was a failure and had no meaningful influence on the targeted terrorists.
According to them, the airstrikes fell in safe areas, including farms that had no history of terrorist hideouts.
However, reports emerged on Friday night, indicating that numerous militants were killed during combined operations by the US army and its Nigerian equivalent.
Moore said: “this year, thanks to President Trump, Radical Islamic Terrorists were on the receiving end of 12 Tomahawk missiles as a present.
“The successful strikes on ISIS, in coordination with the Nigerian government, is just the first step to secure the country and end the slaughter of our brothers and sisters in Christ”.
According to ZINGTIE, people of Sokoto State have been frightened since the US military incursion.
