Rivers: Tinubu, Fubara in closed-door meeting at Presidential Villa

On Thursday, President Bola Tinubu met with Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara.

Fubara and Tinubu are having a meeting at Abuja’s Presidential Villa.

About 5:35 p.m., the governor arrived at the Presidential Villa and made his way to Tinubu’s office.

Fubara recently went to the Presidential Villa to attend a peace conference with the President and Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.

Wike and Fubara have been at odds over the state’s political system.
