SAD: His family thought he traveled abroad for greener pastures, they didn’t know this happened to him

A 45-year-old man named Okilo Aseri was thought to be missing by his family, however a video released by NTA claims that a discovery was found at his home.

Aseri’s family felt he had left for a better opportunity abroad after multiple failed attempts to reach him between 2023 and 2024.

The sobering reality, however, came to light when Aseri’s relatives came to clean and get his flat ready for rental.

They were horrified to discover Aseri’s bones in his bedroom. The family had been attempting to contact Aseri without success for more than a year, according to the neighbours, who verified that they had not heard from him.

A resident of the building named Gborienemi Mark gave a first-hand description of what transpired before the finding.

Mark claims that the family’s visit to the flat resulted in the disturbing discovery, which has shocked the community.

In his words, “The deceased family came to use their apartment because of one of their sister who was having issues. During the process of cleaning the apartment, they discovered that some offensive smell were coming out of the toilet. At first, they thought it was rats, but one of them decided to check it out, peaked and saw the skeleton in the bathroom. They concluded that the skeleton was the young man.”
