Following a quick screening process that lasted less than 30 minutes, the Senate has accepted Bernard Doro’s nomination as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Doro, Plateau State’s third ministerial contender, took use of the opportunity to outline his plans for creating a robust and inclusive humanitarian environment throughout the nation.

He pledged to establish an impartial, independent, and inclusive humanitarian environment.

When he appeared before MPs, Doro promised to improve security agency coordination in order to better detect and assist those impacted by crises, a task he admitted is still difficult.

He thinks that technology can be quite helpful in doing this.

The senators expressed their appreciation with his qualifications and willingness to serve following a quick round of questions.

He was then requested to bow and depart by the lawmakers.

Doro was named a minister by President Bola Tinubu last week after Plateau State native Nentawe Yilwatda resigned.
