Social Media does not forget – Mr Macaroni reminds Gbajabiamila of his old tweet

Debo Adebayo, a.k.a. Mr. Macaroni, a Nigerian comedian, has attacked Femi Gbajabiamila, President Bola Tinubu’s chief of staff, for characterizing social media as a threat.

Femi Gbajabiamila demanded social media control on February 8, 2024, at a book launch in Lagos, according to KanyiDailyZINGTIE.
He voiced worries about disseminatingdisseminating false information on social media and emphasized the need forneed for a controlled system to stop incorrect information from spreading.

In response, Mr. Macaroni posted screenshots of Gbajabiamila’s 2014 criticism of the government on his Twitter feed, labeling them as “Vagabonds and Barbarians.”

The skit maker called out the seeming inconsistency, emphasizing that when Gbajabiamila used social media to voice disapproval, it wasn’t seen as a threat.
