After leaving his position as manager of England after Euro 2024, Gareth Southgate has secured his first job.
After eight years in command, the 53-year-old quit after losing to Spain in the championship game.
But Southgate won’t be unemployed for long because UEFA offered him a new position before to the commencement of the Champions League this year.
An official observer of UEFA, Southgate joined the organisation prior to the 2024–25 Champions League.
As part of his work, he will go to games and share his observations with the analysts at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
He will also submit comprehensive reports to UEFA that evaluate individual performances, strategies, and games.
On September 17, the Champions League will begin in its new format.
