Senate President Godswill Akpabio has been challenged by suspended Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan to take legal action against her for allegedly threatening to kill him.
On Thursday night, Natasha made the challenge during an appearance on Politics Today on Channels Television.
Natasha had claimed on Tuesday that Akpabio had hired Usman Ododo, the governor of Kogi State, to start the recall and murder process against her.
According to her, Ododo told Akpabio that “the masses are with her, so it would be impossible.”
The suspended legislator then promised to pay for the procedures and requested Bello to make sure she was remembered and killed.
“But Akpabio was not satisfied; he then called for Yahaya Bello. It was Senator Asuquo who drove Yahaya Bello to the Hiltons. I was informed,” Akpoti-Uduaghan said.
“The meeting was in two folds; he told him to commence my recall. He was going to fund it. Of course, money changed hands that day. The second thing was that he should kill me. Akpabio told Yahaya Bello to kill me,” she claimed.
However, Natasha said: “I am hearing that the Senate President wants to sue me for that, I will tell him to go ahead. We will meet and cross that bridge.”
