As reported by ZINGTIE, Super Eagles goalkeeper Amas Obasogie has refuted any connection to match-fixing.

Obasogie pledged to exonerate himself from all allegations of misconduct.

On Friday, the 26-year-old was suspended for three months by Singida Black Stars SC, a club in the Tanzanian Premier League.

The goalkeeper was accused of having influenced the results of both a CAF Confederation Cup match and a domestic game.

Obasogie asserted that the goals he allowed in each of the two matches were due to footballing errors rather than intentional wrongdoing.

The ex-Bendel Insurance goalkeeper is anticipated to appear before a disciplinary committee to vindicate himself.
