Teacher’s remark on report card of primary 4 girl triggers reactions online

A class teacher’s comment on a primary four schoolgirl’s report card has generated discussion on social media.

According to her online result sheet, Nelson Yvonne, a pupil at Manhyia Methodist Primary School, placed 18th in her class.

The girl got promoted to primary five on the report card that @ohemaapretty79 posted on TikTok.
She has a peaceful personality but a sluggish attitude, the teacher remarked on her report card.

Surprisingly, the teacher wrote that the girl should “keep it up” in the teacher’s remarks section.

Many internet users found this to be the source of disagreement since they believed the teacher’s statement to be contradictory.

Tina bby said: “You all should know that there’s a difference between Attitude and teachers remarks .so the teacher is trying to let the parent know that the child is lazy in class some are active and some are also dull in class. so if u are saying we should send the teacher to GES then u have to be the first person cause u need to understand well before. with the keep it up the facilitator is trying to let us know that the child did her best so she should keep it up.
