Tinubu Vs Peter Obi: Popular powerful prophet declares what will happen in 2027 election

Dr. Ramas Okoye Asuzu, a well-known prophet from Anambra, has called on those aspiring to the presidency with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and other Nigerians aiming to dethrone President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to put their ambitions on hold in light of the upcoming 2027 general election.

Asuzu also responded to the recent backing of President Tinubu by governors from the South-East and Igbo stakeholders in Enugu state.

Asuzu talked with reporters at his home in the Nri community (part of Aniocha Local Government Area) on Sunday,

As reported by Tribune Online, during the South-East All Progressive Congress (APC) Stakeholders’ Meeting known as “Izu Umunna,” governors Hope Uzodimma (Imo State), Peter Mbah (Enugu State), and Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi State), along with party stakeholders, expressed their support for President Tinubu’s second term.

The leaders committed to mobilising bloc votes throughout the region for the 2027 election, pledging to counter what they termed the balkanisation of South-East votes due to personal ambitions. It was stated that such actions had a historical tendency to undermine the region’s bargaining power on a national scale.

Asuzu, the Supreme Head of the Liberation Temple of Absolute God, reacted to the endorsement by stating that President Tinubu’s victory in 2027 is already settled in the spiritual realm.

“His victory was revealed to me by the gods of the land after a tense consultation ahead of the 2027 general election. It was also revealed to me as the custodian of the gods that my brothers, Peter Obi and the current Minister of Works, Senator Dave Umahi’s aspirations of becoming Nigerian President would only be actualised in 2031,” he said.

He also encouraged candidates to reconsider their ambitions:

“I advise those contesting against him to suspend their ambitions for 2031. My prediction as a prophet with over 35 years in worship is for the good and continued unity and togetherness of Nigeria.”

Asuzu commended the President’s administration, noting that it has fostered a sense of belonging for Ndigbo at the centre, including through the creation of the South-East Development Commission.

“Tinubu will be declared the winner of the election, and besides the victory, he has done tremendously well in all sectors of the economy. His current administration has provided Ndigbo a sense of belonging platform at the centre, the creation of the South-East Development Commission, and other humanitarian benefits the region is gaining,” he said.

He urged the Ndigbo to back the President with prayers so that he could fulfil his vision for the country.

Asuzu also urged President Tinubu to kick off his second-term agenda by instituting life sentences for corrupt politicians.

The prophet mentioned possible defections from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The prophet spoke on Instagram Thursday, January 8, detailing what he characterized as changes in party loyalty, especially between mid-2026 and early 2027.
