Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage briefly interrupted her performance at a concert in London after spotting her former English teacher in the audience.

The moment occurred during her set at the Meltdown Festival, curated by Little Simz. Savage suddenly paused her performance, stepped off the stage, and approached a man she recognized from years past.

In a video now circulating widely on social media, the singer is seen walking toward the man, shouting, “This is my English teacher,” before embracing him and sharing a quick conversation.

The surprise interaction thrilled the crowd, prompting loud cheers from the audience.

This heartwarming moment comes shortly after her estranged husband, Tee Billz, criticized her publicly, claiming she doesn’t make enough time for their son, Jamal. He also accused her manager of overscheduling her with too many commitments.
