Aston Villa are reportedly aiming to secure the signing of Ademola Lookman by leveraging potential qualification for next season’s UEFA Champions League.

The Nigerian winger is widely expected to leave Serie A club Atalanta once the current campaign concludes.

Villa have shown strong interest in bringing the 27-year-old back to the Premier League, and according to Caught Offside, the club believes that securing Champions League football for a second year in a row could be a decisive factor in convincing him to join.

Atalanta are said to value Lookman at approximately €60 million.

The former RB Leipzig player has attracted interest from several top clubs across England, Italy, and Spain since his move to Atalanta in 2022.
