Alexander Isak’s time at Newcastle United appears to be finished.

David Ornstein of The Athletic reports that Isak is determined not to play for Newcastle again, even if he remains at the club after the summer transfer window closes.

While Newcastle isn’t currently willing to let the Swedish forward go, they are monitoring the transfer market as Liverpool has shown interest in the 25-year-old.

In a related story, four clubs are competing to sign Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United.

According to The TouchlineX (via @lauriewhitwell), AC Milan, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, and Newcastle United have all expressed interest in acquiring Hojlund.

This follows Manchester United’s recent signing of Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig.

Sesko, who joined United from Leipzig, has named Zlatan Ibrahimovic as his idol at the club.
