Transfer: Make sure you get playing time, experience – Harry Kane advises Tel

Harry Kane, a striker for Bayern Munich, has advised colleague Mathys Tel to ensure that he receives playing time and experience in the event that he chooses to join a different team.

Tel has been connected to both Arsenal and Manchester United.

During this winter transfer window, the 19-year-old attacker recently turned down a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Despite United and Arsenal’s interest, Kane wants Tel to pick his future team wisely.

“Mathys is a great young player,” Kane told reporters after Bayern Munich’s 4-3 win over Holstein Kiel at the weekend.

“I have worked with him for 18 months now. He has a lot of potential, works hard, and likes to train hard. He can still improve, but he has the right mindset to do so.

“Whatever his next step is, the most important thing is that he plays. My advice is that wherever he goes now, he should make sure he gets playing time and experience.”

This season, Tel has only appeared in eight league games for Bayern Munich.

In order to gain regular playing time, the France U21 star is eager to leave the Bundesliga powerhouses.
