Transfer: Messi signs three-year deal with new club

Rayane Messi, a forward for Dijon, is expected to join Strasbourg.

A €1 million deal has been agreed upon by both teams for the 17-year-old.

It will have a 10% sell-on clause and add-ons.

Fabrizio Romano, a football transfer specialist, posted on X: “Strasbourg has agreed to sign 17-year-old talent Rayane Messi from Dijon.”

“€1m including add-ons plus 10% sell-on clause agreed.

“Rayane, expected to sign a three-year deal.”

In 2022, Rayane Messi enrolled in the Dijon youth academy from Versailles. On April 5, 2024, he made his club debut.

At 16 years and 325 days old, he is the youngest goal scorer in Dijon’s history. He also plays regularly for France as a youth international in the U-17 squad.
