Transfer: Napoli identify top striker to replace Osimhen

In order to replace the outgoing Victor Osimhen, Napoli has identified Lille striker Jonathan David as the main target.

Osimhen is expected to leave Napoli at the end of the season despite signing a contract extension with the Italian team in December.

The race to sign him to replace Kylian Mbappe, who is headed to Real Madrid, is being led by Paris Saint-Germain.

To advance the team to new heights, Chelsea is rumored to be interested in acquiring the Nigerian international as their star forward signing.

Jonathan David is Napoli’s main choice, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

David’s performance in 39 games this season has mirrored his 2022–2023 campaign totals of 23 goals and seven assists.
