Transfer: Neymar hints at joining Messi, Suarez at Inter Miami

Neymar, a forward for Al Hilal, has strongly hinted that he may be starting for Inter Miami alongside former Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez.

The 32-year-old claims that “football is full of surprises.”

Despite having a contract with the Saudi Arabian team until June 2025, Neymar’s lack of playing time has led to a great deal of speculation about his future with Al Hilal because of his lack of playing time.

Neymar suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury while playing for his country shortly after joining the team, and his comeback to action has been marred by minor injuries while he recovers.

“Obviously playing again with Messi and Suarez would be incredible,” Neymar told CNN Sport.

“They are my friends, we still speak to each other. It would be interesting to revive this trio.

“I am happy at Al Hilal and in Saudi Arabia, but who knows. Football is full of surprises.”

Messi and Suárez reunited at Miami in December 2023, going on to win the MLS Supporters Shield in 2024.

They also set a new record  for most regular season points in the US-based league.
