Despite his undeniable football skills, Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has not attracted interest from European clubs, according to TRT Spor commentator Kaya Çilingiroğlu.
Çilingiroğlu explained that European teams are unwilling to meet the Nigeria international’s expected salary of 40 million Euros per year.
He noted that Galatasaray was the only club to put forward a strong offer, proposing 25 million Euros for Osimhen.
“Victor Osimhen has all kinds of talent but no European team wants him,” Çilingiroğlu said (via habersarikirmizi).
“Arab teams don’t want him very much either. Galatasaray is offering 25 million Euros, but European teams need to offer 40 million Euros to get this amount.
“Galatasaray made the best offer anyway.”
Osimhen’s loan period at Galatasaray has concluded, and he has yet to decide where he will play in the upcoming season.
The 26-year-old has been linked with Saudi club Al Hilal as well as major European sides including Chelsea, Juventus, Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Manchester United.
