Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen is set to head to Istanbul on Wednesday as his transfer to Galatasaray nears completion.

The Turkish Super Lig champions have finalized a deal with Napoli for the 27-year-old striker, with only a few formalities remaining.

Osimhen is expected to undergo his medical examination on Thursday as the final step before the move is officially sealed.

Renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the development on Tuesday night, revealing that all legal paperwork between both clubs has been fully signed.

He wrote on X: “Victor Osimhen will land in Istanbul on Wednesday, all documents are counter-signed!

“Medical on Thursday for Osimhen, back to Galatasaray.”

Following an impressive loan spell where Osimhen netted 37 goals in 41 matches, Galatasaray has been keen to secure his services permanently. The club is now on the brink of finalizing the deal for the former African Footballer of the Year.
