Transfer: Super Eagles goalkeeper Sochima seals move to Zambian club

Zesco United, a club in the Zambian Super League, has officially secured the services of Nigerian goalkeeper Victor Sochima.

The shot-stopper makes the move to the Ndola-based team after a stint with Jamus FC, a club in South Sudan.

Sochima, aged 26, has signed a deal that will keep him at Zesco United for the next two seasons.

During his time with Jamus FC, he achieved notable success, helping the team clinch both the league title and the domestic cup in the previous campaign.

He arrives as a replacement for Toaster Nsabata, who exited the club at the end of his contract.

Earlier in his career, Sochima featured for Rivers United, one of the past champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League, and also had a spell with Tanzanian side Tabora United.
