Transfer: Three deals to be completed after 2024 Olympics end

At least three transfer agreements will be finalised following the conclusion of the men’s football competition at the 2024 Olympics.

In the Friday night final, Spain defeated the hosts, France, 5-3. Sergio Camello scored two goals in extra time to secure the win.

With the new season about to begin, focus will now shift to club football.

Amir Richardson will finalise his transfer to Fiorentina, while Samu Omorodion, who was with the Spanish squad, will go through his physical with Chelsea.

Expert on football transfers, Fabrizio Romano, stated on X:  “Several deals are set to be completed after the end of the Olympics.

“Samu Omorodion will sign seven year deal at Chelsea.

“Amir Richardson, set to join Fiorentina for €9m plus €1m add-ons and sell-on.

“Marc Pubill, Atalanta player for €15m plus add-ons.”
