Fearing that the new president would imprison him, a former attorney for US President-elect Donald Trump has begged outgoing President Joe Biden to pardon him, just as he did for his son Hunter.
Trump will punish Michael Cohen for testifying against the politician in his hush money conviction, according to Cohen.
Given that Trump was found guilty on 34 felony counts in the case last year and had previously been found guilty for his involvement in the case years prior, Cohen was also the prosecution’s star witness.
Trump paid Stormy, an adult film star, $130,000 prior to the 2016 presidential election, with Cohen acting as a middleman.

Cohen is urging Biden to grant Trump a presidential pardon before he leaves office, arguing that he and other members of Trump’s “enemies list” should be pardoned, similar to Biden’s son, who received a full and unconditional pardon. Trump will return to the White House in a week.
‘I put in application for the presidential pardon because I believe Joe Biden has the same responsibility to me that he has to his son’, Cohen said.
‘I would expect the same exact pardon he gave his son to me and anyone that is on that enemies list whether they want it or not because solitary confinement where I did 51 days sucks.’
