“United States President Donald Trump’s eight-point plan for all tax provisions has been revealed.”

In line with Rapid Response 47, the eight-point tax agenda covers no taxation on tips or seniors’ social security, no tax on overtime pay, the renewal of the Trump tax cuts, and adjustments to the SALT cap.

Trump is also aiming to remove the special tax incentives for billionaire sports team owners and close the carried interest loophole.

Meanwhile, President Trump met with Republicans in the Oval Office on Thursday for about five hours, but the GOP remains no closer to reaching an agreement to pass a massive spending bill.

This comes as Trump, in his early weeks post-inauguration, unveils several executive orders and tariff measures, which have sparked controversy.

Trump ordered a suspension of funding for all U.S. foreign aid, including the U.S. Agency for International Development, USAID.

He also imposed import tariffs on Mexico, Canada, and China, igniting a trade war.
