Turkey: Osimhen talks up partnership with Morata

Victor Osimhen has described playing alongside Spain international Álvaro Morata as “incredible.”

The two forwards teamed up to lead Galatasaray’s attack in Sunday’s 2-1 victory over Alanyaspor at the GAIN Park Stadium. This marked the second time they started together following Morata’s transfer from AC Milan in January.

Osimhen scored the decisive goal in the thrilling match, and he expressed optimism about the potential of their partnership.

“It was incredible to play with him. He is a very experienced player. We all know him. He is a team player who comes close to receiving the ball in the attack, helps the team, he is an advanced player,” the Nigeria international told the club’s official website.

“I am very happy to play with him. We hope for a season where both of us score more goals and our momentum increases.”
