A Nigerian lady who lives in the UK has revealed how she manages her finances to save money.

The lady claims that although she receives a salary of £21,000, she always does her math well enough to have money left over after costs.

Pascaline Kelechi, a woman, said in a TikTok post that she is able to save £10k of her £21,000 (N44.9 million) salary.

She claims that after cutting some expenses from her budget, it took her a full year to save £10,000 (N21 million).

She claimed to have stopped spending more than £10 a week on chocolate and hot coffee.

She also reduced her impulsive purchases on e-commerce sites and quit ordering takeout.

The lady added that she had to wait patiently until she got the funds to buy pricey clothing, so she stopped wearing them.

According to Kelechi, she also stopped using a few streaming services rather than paying for all four at once.

She said: “Do I really need 4 streaming platforms? No. Now I rotate free trials like a pro. I stopped shopping for the person I might become. Future me can wait as present me is broke. I finish what I have before buying anything new. No more 7 half-used lotions judging me from my shelf.”
