The Cadent Foundation’s annual Winter Warmer Campaign has begun, providing thousands of needy households in the UK with access to necessary goods to keep warm over the winter months. Nearly 5,000 winter packs will be distributed by the Cadent Foundation until March in collaboration with Groundwork, a community action charity partner.

The packages are made available throughout Cadent’s network and are given as an emergency intervention to individuals who are most in need. Home basics, including hot water bottles, gloves, scarves, hats, and blankets, are included in the packs, which are made to keep households warm during the winter months. Distributing the packs from their neighbourhood hubs and through collaborations with food banks and other support agencies will be the first step.

The Cadent Foundation was founded to assist households in finding long-term solutions to combat poverty and guarantee that people are safe and warm in their homes. It is supported by the local gas network Cadent
