Davido, a well-known Afrobeat singer from Nigeria, was observed at Atlanta, Georgia’s “Lungu Boy” tour concert by Asake, along with other notable performers.

Asake will play for ten days at his sold-out engagement at Atlanta’s 17,000-seat State Farm Arena starting on August 16, 2024.

Davido joined American rapper Quavo backstage to assist Asake during the live performance, as seen in a viral video on social media.

American rapper Russ Millions and Nigerian hitmaker Zlatan were among the other performers there.

According to ZINGTIE, Asake will be the headliner of six U.S. cities on his “Lungu Boy” tour, which will include Madison Square Garden in New York, the Toyota Centre in Houston, and the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

Only a few days have passed since the release of Asake’s most recent single, “Lungu Boy,” which features a number of celebrities, including Travis Scott, Wizkid, British rappers Central Cee and Stormzy, and Brazilian singer Ludmilla.

With 18.9 million streams in its first week, “Lungu Boy” broke the previous record of 14.4 million streams held by Davido’s “Timeless,” setting a new record for the greatest opening week on Spotify Nigeria.
