The late Nigerian televangelist Prophet T.B. Joshua foretold tumultuous times after the election that installed Bola Ahmed Tinubu as president in a video that has since been recovered.

Given the current national developments, his pre-election words have generated increased interest.

The well-known pastor warned of dangerous situations that would arise after the election process was over in a now-viral video.

He emphasized that tension and uncertainty would characterize the post-election environment.

In his own words: “After election, there will be situations on the ground. A lot of situation. To the ordinary eyes, it will look very very fearful. When the cloud is darker, it is about to rain. You see if it is about to rain, let him run. When the cloud is very, you see it is about to rain, then people will say let us starting running.”

Joshua’s allusion to black clouds as a metaphor for upcoming difficulties has sparked conjecture over its applicability to the sociopolitical environment of Nigeria today.

Watch the video below:

Nigerians are divided over the resurrected prophecy, with many taking it in different directions.
