After being suspected of having affairs with their wives, a man known as Zimbabwe’s own “Baltasar” was subjected to violent retaliation from a group of furious husbands.

A number of guys from the Mapostori sect were seen hitting the victim, pinning him down while others struck him with what looked like rubber rods, according to a video posted by Crimewatch Zimbabwe on X (previously Twitter).

A witness captured the men questioning him in the video, which was then shared on social media. One of the assailants asks, “How many women have you slept with, and why did you do it?” at one point. According to reports, some women said their spouses were not meeting their needs, thus the man allegedly entered into these relationships.

Social media users reacted quickly, tagging the police to step in and apprehend the assaulting males. Noting a recent increase in arrests for assaults on cheating partners and their wives, several viewers voiced shock.
